A Month and a Day (Blog #3)

Today was crazy productive between taekwondo, piano, homework, shopping, and baking.
Last night I went to see The Little Mermaid at the Little Theater, and it was amazing! Congrats to Rachel :)

So as a general update, I've been swamped with taekwondo and piano happenings. There's a tournament coming up in November, and I've been practicing like mad. I've also taken up to teaching more classes. MMTA State is in about four weeks. If I don't practice, I'll surely be in 'treble'. Okay that pun was a 'major' failure.

I'm going to bake brownies now, peace out.

P.S. There's only a month and a day before Boston!

What Happened to Summer (Blog #2)

So today is mid-first quarter.
This is very not okay.
It seems that I have gotten accustomed to school already. What happened to dreading school? What happened to staying up late every night sleep-texting?!
Who knows. Maybe this school year will fly by and the only memory I'll have of it is this blog post.

Time is a funny thing. There's never enough of it, yet too much. The more time you spend worrying about wasting time, the more time you lose. It can be the worst, or the best thing that happens to you. Personally, second block seems to last three years instead of 92 minutes. It's just one of things that people notice but don't really think about. WHY does it seem like a class drags on forever?

Speaking of school...
Things have been rather eventful. That bomb threat earlier this week kept things interesting. Twelve people were missing from my spanish class. One of my friends on Facebook actually posted something along the lines of, "Oh man, I was counting on that bomb threat to get me out of class..." Classic. Also, homecoming nominations came out! So honored to be a Court nominee.

Well, we're an eighth of the way through the school year. Here's to a good year.

I've got my bowl of rice and chopsticks at the ready (Blog #1)

Hello, I'm Sharon.
I'm 15, and a sophomore at Central.

I'm really Asian, hence my url. I am a part of Math Club, Science Olympiad, FBLA, Quizbowl, and Central Intelligence. Outside of school, I play classical piano, swim, bike, and hang out with friends. I'm also a 3rd degree black belt at ATA Martial Arts.

My favorite subject is math, and I actually went to a math camp over the summer. It wasn't as bad as it sounds. I got to meet new friends, and the camp counselors were chill. (I ALSO GOT TO GO TO THE BEACH).
Oh and right now I'm actually supposed to be studying for a calc test. Oops.

Some of my nicknames include Cheezer (cause I smile a lot), Bubbles (cause I love water), and SharBear.

I aspire to become a cardiologist like my dad. The medical field has always captured my interest. A college on the east coast and/or Ivy League would be really fantastic. I guess I just want to get away from the midwest... Plus I love the beach so it's a win-win situation. I have my sights set on the Mayo Clinic or John Hopkins for further schooling. That is, if I make it through college.

UPDATE: That calc test wasn't bad at all. I'm getting ready for taekwondo...
